Jr. Panther Basketball League 2024 Grades 2nd-6th

What will your child will get by joining Jr. Panther Basketball League:

-Guaranteed 7 games + End of Season Tournament

-Jr. NBA team youth jersey/shorts

-5-on-5 games on Sundays (some Saturdays) at Bloomington High School South, Jackson Creek Middle School, Summit Elementary

-2 practices per week for the first 2 weeks of the season. We will cut back to 1 practice the rest of the season. Your son will be expected to be at practice. Missing to play on another basketball team or in another league will not be tolerated and could result being removed for their team. Parents/Guardians will be expected to communicate with coaches about absences.

This league is apart of the Bloomington South boys basketball feeder system.

We also might need some coaches this year for the league. When you are registering there is a part you can fill if interested. It doesn't guarantee you will get to coach, but will be considered.

Evaluation Dates- TBA - DON'T REQUEST TO PUT YOUR SON ON TEAMS! WE TRY TO KEEP THE TEAMS AS FAIR AS WE CAN.

Practices start in mid/late October -TBA - Working on gym availability with our high school sports. We will practice 2 times a week the first 2 weeks, then only go 1 practice a week the remainder of the season.

First game - November 2nd - (games will be finished by 7:00pm)

Games will be played on Sunday's. We will also have some games on Saturdays.. Depending on how many teams we have, each team may have to play twice on game day throughout the season. That will be determined based on numbers.

Here are the game dates: November 2nd (Sat), November 10th, November 17th, December 3th, December 7th (Sat), Playoffs will start the week of the December 15th. Championship will be the week of December 16-20..
